The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the categories of Assemblies and of Partioned Assemblies. Firstly we describe all the properties of these two categories and we focus on a characterization of the second one. Eventually we examine the relation between Assemblies and Partitioned Assemblies showing that the first is the reg/lex completion of the second one.
