This thesis will present the case study on the project cost management practices of the Permasteelisa Group and underline that effective cost management is a basic driver of project success and corporate competitiveness. The study has underlined the growing importance of the financial indicator forecasting related to WIP, cash flow, and PoC. It investigates how these indicators change over time and help materialize proactive decisions made by management. The study proceeds to explain the methodologies of project management, processes of monitoring, and techniques of forecasting adopted by Permasteelisa. It develops the creation of an automated model both for the assessment of the progress of projects and the projection of financial indicators. This innovative tool, based on the analyses of WIP, cash flow, and PoC, offers an advanced solution for project monitoring, control, and strategic planning. It gives both a status snapshot and a reliable forecast for the future that enables more strategic project management. The present thesis makes an enormous contribution to project management by attempting to constantly integrate theory, practice, and technology in producing a model that will enhance the capacity of companies operating within an increasingly dynamic business environment to anticipate challenges, optimize resources, and improve project performance.
