The thesis explores the application of Service Design principles and methodologies within the context of a real-world project conducted during an internship at the company Italian Exhibition Group (IEG). The thesis is structured into three main sections: the first part outlines the theoretical foundations of Service Design, providing a comprehensive overview of its core principles and methodologies. The second part examines the role of Service Design as a strategic tool for achieving business objectives and its integration within the consulting context. The final part presents the practical application of these concepts during the internship project at IEG, focused on improving the Visitor Journey at VicenzaOro, a leading event in Europe for the entire gold and jewelry industry.
L'elaborato esplora l’applicazione dei principi e delle metodologie del Service Design nel contesto di un progetto reale condotto durante uno stage presso l'azienda Italian Exhibition Group (IEG). La tesi è strutturata in tre sezioni principali: la prima parte delinea le basi teoriche del Service Design, offrendo una panoramica completa dei suoi principi e delle sue metodologie fondamentali. La seconda parte esamina il ruolo del Service Design come strumento strategico per il raggiungimento degli obiettivi aziendali e la sua integrazione nel contesto della consulenza. L’ultima parte presenta l’applicazione pratica di questi concetti durante il progetto di stage presso IEG, focalizzato sul miglioramento della Visitour Journey a VicenzaOro, evento di riferimento in Europa per l’intera filiera orafo gioielliera.
