Villa Bembo-Fabian is a building located in the municipality of San Giorgio in Bosco, in the province of Padua, built between the 16th and 17th centuries. This research aims to trace the history and architectural features of the villa and its outbuildings, which have undergone functional modifications. It examines the origin and development of villas in the Veneto region, observing the role played by watercourses, particularly the Brenta River, in the modification of the soil e way of life. The study then analyzes the municipal area of San Giorgio in Bosco, where Villa Bembo-Fabian stands. Through a historical overview of the complex, the succession of the property from the presumed date of construction is detailed, along with the hypotheses evaluated for the repurposing of the spaces, which today serve as the seat of the Municipal Administration, describing them from an architectural standpoint, as they have been subject to renovation from 1987 to 2011.
