Implementing Lean Principles in a metal processing company. A project in collaboration with Lenovys s.r.l.

This thesis describes the performance improvement project of a metal processing company. This paper describes how the lean principles and tools used were fundamental to analyze the cutting department’s status quo, discover the main cause of inefficiency and finally correct the problem of the cutting machine.
