This thesis examines the phenomenon of youth gangs, focusing on the risk and protective factors influencing young people’s involvement in such groups. It explores the role of peer groups as a key element in the process of deviant socialization and their connection to petty crime, highlighting the dynamics that lead to transgression and violence. The study also proposes intervention strategies to counteract the phenomenon, emphasizing educational, social, and institutional approaches aimed at fostering inclusion and preventing juvenile delinquency.
La tesi analizza il fenomeno delle baby gang, con un focus sui fattori di rischio e di prevenzione che influenzano l’adesione dei giovani a questi gruppi. Viene approfondito il ruolo del gruppo come elemento chiave nel processo di socializzazione deviante e il legame con la microcriminalità, evidenziando le dinamiche che portano alla trasgressione e alla violenza. L’elaborato propone inoltre strategie di intervento per contrastare il fenomeno, puntando su approcci educativi, sociali e istituzionali capaci di promuovere l’inclusione e prevenire la devianza giovanile.
