Analisi dei Dispositivi di Controllo e Somministrazione Automatica di Insulina per Pazienti Diabetici

This thesis aims to analyze the different medical aids available to diabetic patients and the principles underlying them. To begin we will explain the various types of diabetes and their implications. We will then talk about the glucose-insulin model and its mathematical modeling. Finally, we will try to see the possible alternatives that these patients have to deal with the pathology, making an analysis not only from a mathematical point of view and therefore reliability of the control system but also from a more human side and therefore in terms of comfort. for the patient.

Questa tesi vuole andare ad analizzare i diversi presidi medici disponibili ai pazienti diabetici e i principi che ne stanno alla base. Per iniziare andremo a spiegare i vari tipi di diabete e le loro implicazioni. Andremo poi a parlare del modello glucosio-insulina e della sua modellizzazione matematica. Infine, cercheremo di visionare le possibili alternative che questi pazienti hanno per poter affrontare la patologia, facendo un’analisi non solo dal punto di vista matematico e quindi di affidabilità del sistema di controllo ma anche da un lato più umano e quindi in termini di comodità per il paziente.
