Sviluppo e Analisi di un Content-Based Recommender System

The thesis includes an introduction to the topic of Recommender Systems, with a particular focus on the Content-Based Recommender System. Then, it describes the development of a Content-Based Recommender System that operates on a movie dataset, analyzing the various implementation choices and their impact on the effectiveness of the predictions produced. The final part of the thesis presents an analysis summarizing the decisions made and the results obtained.

La tesi prevede un'introduzione al tema dei Recommender System, con una attenzione particolare alla tipologia del Content-Based Recommender System. Dopodiché viene descritta la realizzazione di un Content-Based Recommender System che opera su un dataset di film, analizzando le varie scelte implementative ed il loro effetto sull'efficacia delle predizioni prodotte. La parte conclusiva della tesi riporta un'analisi che riassume le scelte fatte e i risultati ottenuti.
