The plastics recycling industry is continuously developing and gaining in importance given the growing battle for environmental protection. In this paper, I have tried to report what I did during my internship experience, which was to optimize the sampling times and methods for the analysis of incoming materials from suppliers by taking sampling of different types and comparing them to control the homogeneity of the supply in accordance with what they reported. By doing so, it was possible to see which suppliers were more reliable and thus save on sampling, specimen molding and analysis times. Conversely, where discrepancies in analysis were found between different types of sampling or compared with what the suppliers reported, attention was increased in order to have as a final product a compound with more reliable and accurate technical characteristics.
Abstract Il settore del riciclaggio di materie plastiche è in continuo sviluppo e sta assumendo sempre più importanza vista la crescente battaglia per la salvaguardia ambientale. In questo elaborato ho cercato di riportare quanto fatto durante la mia esperienza di tirocinio che ha avuto come obiettivo quello di ottimizzare i tempi e metodi di prelievo per le analisi dei materiali in arrivo dai fornitori facendo prelievi di diverso tipo e confrontandoli per capire se la fornitura era omogenea e conforme con quanto riportato da questi. Così facendo si è potuto verificare quali fornitori fossero più affidabili e quindi risparmiare sui tempi di prelievo, stampaggio provini e analisi. Viceversa dove si sono trovate discrepanze nelle analisi tra diversi tipi di prelievo o rispetto a quanto dichiarato dai fornitori si è aumentata l’attenzione per avere come prodotto finale un compound con caratteristiche tecniche più affidabili e precise.
