RESISTERE NELL'OMBRA. Un etnografia ai margini della strada.

Thesis entitled "Resisting in the shadows. An ethnography on the edge of the road" with a focus on migration, especially on the regime of borders. This thesis analyses the genesis and evolution of border practices, describing the heterogeneity of control mechanisms through which the processes of exploitation and criminalization of some individuals are reproduced. Then it focuses on the role played by gender in the migratory experience, exploring the body as a perspective of investigation of migrants' subjectivities, both analyzing the biopolitical forms to which they are subject, and investigating forms of resistance. These issues were investigated through an ethnography at the volunteer activity that includes the contact unit with people who prostitute organized by the Mimosa Association.

Tesi dal titolo "Resistere nell'ombra. Un etnografia ai margini della strada" con focus sulle migrazioni, in particolare sul regime dei confini. Questa tesi analizza la genesi e l’evoluzione delle pratiche di confine, descrivendo l’eterogeneità dei meccanismi di controllo attraverso i quali si riproducono i processi di sfruttamento e criminalizzazione di alcuni individui. Poi si focalizza sul ruolo giocato dal genere all'interno dell'esperienza migratoria, andando ad esplorare il corpo come prospettiva di indagine delle soggettività migranti, sia analizzando le forme biopolitiche a cui sono soggetti, sia indagando le forme di resistenza. Queste tematiche sono state indagate attraverso un etnografia presso l'attività di volontariato che prevede l'unità di contatto con persone che si prostituiscono organizzata dall'Associazione Mimosa.
