We are in an era composed of continuous changes, in which the presence of capable people is increasingly required, prepared to act in any situation in an autonomous and conscious way. Precisely for this reason, the following thesis aims to understand how, and if, Life and Soft Skills are promoted among young people. In particular, in the first chapter we start from a definition of competence, up to explaining what Life Skills are and how important their presence is in the training of today's young people. In the second chapter the concept of training orientation is illustrated, and then move on to the definition of soft Skills, explaining their importance, especially in the professional field. In the third chapter, two different educational experiences are proposed, one concerning the promotion of Life Skills and one for the promotion of Soft Skills. Finally, chapter four focuses on Peer Education and its relevance in today's educational context.
