Un castello di fiume nel territorio padovano: San Martino della Vaneza sul Bacchiglione

My thesis talks about the Bacchiglione river, which is the backdrop to the events of the Castle of San Martino della Vaneza, located in Cervarese Santa Croce, which is another important subject in my work. I also deal with the historical events that see Padua as the protagonist, which used S.Martino as an important strategic point. Finally, I will deal with the restoration that took place in 1935 of this medieval structure that is still preserved today.

Il mio elaborato parla del fiume Bacchiglione, il quale fa da sfondo alle vicende del Castello di San Martino della Vaneza, sito in Cervarese Santa croce, che è un altro soggetto importante all’interno del mio lavoro. Affronto anche le vicende storiche che vedono protagonista Padova, che usó proprio S.Martino come importante punto strategico. Tratteró infine del restauro avvenuto nel 1935 di questa struttura medievale che si conserva ancora oggi.
