Music can be a very effective tool for education, more specifically for learning a foreign language. Music is present in our everyday life, we are constantly listening to songs in different languages, and that can be a key factor for language acquisition. Language and music have various similarities, combining the two can upgrade the overall level of pronunciation, listening skills, writing skills and performance. This approach can develop curiosity for the target culture, and music helps the student familiarise with it through its examples of authentic language.The use of songs both in and outside the classroom also has a positive impact on students, increasing motivation, decreasing foreign language anxiety and overall creating a less stressful environment for learning.
