Through the analysis of the passages of the Antapodosis by Liutprand of Cremona in which are narrated the events of the Italic kingdom involving female figures, was studied the influence that Roman aristocratic women had on the election of popes to the papal throne and how they exercised that influence.
Attraverso l'analisi dei passi dell'Antapodosis di Liutprando da Cremona in cui vengono narrate le vicende del regno italico che vedono il coinvolgimento di figure femminili, è stata studiata l'influenza che le donne aristocratiche romane avevano sull'elezione dei papi al soglio pontificio e in che modo esercitavano tale influenza.
