FAENZA: NON SOLO LA CITTÀ DELLA CERAMICA

The city of Faenza, famous all over the world for its faience-style ceramics, is one of the most important centers of Romagna, with a long history dating back to before the arrival of the Romans. In this thesis we will discuss how tourism has evolved in history in general, and then focus on the Emilia-Romagna region and then more specifically on the city itself, discovering what are its main tourist attractions and the plans it is developing to best promote them.

La città di Faenza, famosa in tutto il mondo per le sue ceramiche in stile "faience", è uno dei centri più importanti della Romagna, con una lunga storia databile da prima dell'arrivo dei Romani. In questa tesi tratteremo come il turismo si è evoluto nella storia in generale, per poi focalizzarci sulla regione Emilia-Romagna e poi più in specifico sulla città stessa, scoprendo quali sono le sue principali attrazioni turistiche e i piani che essa sta sviluppando per promuoverli al meglio.
