The following research aims to understand and investigate the development of soft skills, through the analysis of a course for adults: Corsa nella Luce. The research is divided into two main parts: the first part presents a theoretical reconstruction of the evolution of the concept of competence and the methodologies for the development of soft skills; the second part, on the other hand, presents the empirical analysis conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the course for the development of soft skills and to investigate their long-term impact. To this end, four research instruments were used: an observation grid to understand the course methodologies, a focus group to investigate the perceived effectiveness of the implemented methodologies, a self-assessment questionnaire to understand the perceived level of development of each of the skills trainable during the course, and an interview to verify the skills actually developed and their impact in the participants' lives.
La seguente ricerca si pone l’obiettivo di comprendere ed indagare lo sviluppo delle competenze trasversali, attraverso l'analisi di un corso di formazione per adulti: Corsa nella Luce. La ricerca si divide in due parti principali: la prima parte presenta una ricostruzione teorica dell'evoluzione del concetto di competenza e le metodologie per lo sviluppo delle competenze trasversali; la seconda parte, invece, presenta l’analisi empirica condotta per valutare l’efficacia del corso per lo sviluppo delle competenze trasversali e per indagare il loro impatto a lungo termine. A tal fine sono stati impiegati quattro strumenti di ricerca: una griglia di osservazione per la comprensione delle metodologie del corso, un focus group per indagare la percezione dell’efficacia delle metodologie implementate, un questionario autovalutativo per comprendere il livello di sviluppo percepito di ciascuna competenza allenabile durante il corso e un’intervista per verificare le competenze effettivamente sviluppate e il loro impatto nella vita dei partecipanti.
