The aim of this Master Thesis is to discuss the nature of rational points of an elliptic curve over an imaginary quadratic field, under certain hypotheses. In particular, we want to analyze Kolyvagin’s results on Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture.
L'obiettivo di questa Tesi Magistrale è quello di discutere la natura dei punti razionali di una curva ellittica su un campo quadratico immaginario, sotto determinate ipotesi. In particolare, verranno analizzati i risultati ottenuti da Victor Kolyvagin riguardo alla congettura di Birch e Swinnerton-Dyer
