This thesis investigates the role of various visualization modalities in influencing the configurator capability of "User-Friendly Description" across multiple dimensions. The study focuses on ten key visualization modalities: Virtual Try-On, Augmented Reality (AR), 3D Walkthrough, 3D Visualization, 360 View, 2D Visualization, Video, Photo of the Real Product, Virtual Image, and The Product in Motion. To provide a comprehensive analysis, the research examines how these visualization features contribute to four core aspects of user-friendly descriptions: Comprehensive Presentation Across Time Constraints, Balanced Description for General and Detailed Understanding, Adaptability to User Expertise Levels, and Versatility in Highlighting Product Capabilities and Structure. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study employs regression analysis and box plot analytics, integrating data collected from user ratings and configurator interactions. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on online product configurators by offering actionable insights for designers and businesses seeking to optimize visualization strategies. By highlighting the strengths and limitations of various modalities in achieving user-friendly configurator capabilities, the thesis provides a framework for enhancing consumer experience and satisfaction in digital commerce environments.

Abstract
By highlighting the strengths and limitations of various modalities in achieving user-friendly configurator capabilities, the thesis provides a framework for enhancing consumer experience and satisfaction in digital commerce environments.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
