It aims to approach this topic through the lens of psychological theories applied to a particular political case study, understand voter behaviour and explore potential future developments, which could hopefully encourage political and social engagement in current and future generations. This work could be useful not only for people specialising or interested in political psychology, but also individuals in the fields of sociology, political analysis and non-governmental organisations aiming at increasing civic engagement in Bulgaria.
