In recent decades, total knee replacement surgery (total knee arthroplasty, TKA) has established itself as one of the most effective solutions for the treatment of severe degenerative joint diseases, but has not yet achieved sufficient levels of satisfaction, especially in young patients. The long-term effectiveness of a knee prosthesis depends largely on the quality of the design, the choice of materials and the ability to withstand physiological loads. In this context, the research activity of this thesis has an important development perspective.

Abstract
In recent decades, total knee replacement surgery (total knee arthroplasty, TKA) has established itself as one of the most effective solutions for the treatment of severe degenerative joint diseases, but has not yet achieved sufficient levels of satisfaction, especially in young patients. The long-term effectiveness of a knee prosthesis depends largely on the quality of the design, the choice of materials and the ability to withstand physiological loads. In this context, the research activity of this thesis has an important development perspective.File in questo prodotto:
