This thesis explores the educational potential of silent books in addressing the theme of migration in primary school, with the aim of fostering empathy, critical thinking, and intercultural competence among children. The research seeks to answer the following question: can an experiential educational pathway based on silent books foster greater understanding and awareness of the phenomenon of migration among primary school children? Following an in-depth theoretical investigation, a corpus of silent books focused on the theme of migration was selected, based on specific symbolic, visual, and content-related criteria. Two case studies were subsequently analysed: a teaching placement in a primary school in Barcelona, as part of the Green Dialogues project, and a presentation at an academic conference aimed at future educators. The findings highlight the educational value of silent books as accessible, emotionally engaging tools capable of encouraging dialogue and participation. From the data analysis emerged an original educational proposal—synthesizing theory and practice—which integrates visual storytelling and role-play, offering concrete strategies for addressing migration in school through an inclusive, intercultural, and sustainable approach.
