This thesis explores the intersection between a/r/tography and education through a practical and theoretical investigation applied to children’s literature. A/r/tography, as an arts-based research methodology, integrates the roles of artist, researcher, and teacher, creating a fluid and dynamic space for inquiry. By engaging with children's literature, the study highlights how narrative, illustration, sustainable and pedagogical practices can intertwine to foster both creative expression and critical thinking in educational contexts. Through the creation of "literary herbarium" or "botanical tales", this research examines how a/r/tographic processes can enrich the teaching and learning experience, promoting a more holistic and imaginative approach to early childhood education.

Abstract
This thesis explores the intersection between a/r/tography and education through a practical and theoretical investigation applied to children’s literature. A/r/tography, as an arts-based research methodology, integrates the roles of artist, researcher, and teacher, creating a fluid and dynamic space for inquiry. By engaging with children's literature, the study highlights how narrative, illustration, sustainable and pedagogical practices can intertwine to foster both creative expression and critical thinking in educational contexts. Through the creation of "literary herbarium" or "botanical tales", this research examines how a/r/tographic processes can enrich the teaching and learning experience, promoting a more holistic and imaginative approach to early childhood education.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
