Due diligence climatica, difensori ambientali e responsabilità delle imprese transnazionali

The thesis from a brief introduction on the reality of indigenous communities in Latin America, their rights, the violation of them by companies that enrich themselves thanks to their territories, The existing instruments such as the Guiding Principles, the DDHR and the Escazú Agreement are then analysed at a regulatory level to understand how due diligence is integrated within them and some case studies.

La tesi da una breve introduzioni sulla realtà delle comunità indigene dell'America Latina, sui loro diritti, la violazione degli stessi da parte delle imprese che si arricchiscono grazie ai loro territori, successivamente si analizza a livello normativo gli strumenti esistenti come i Guiding Principles, la DDHR, l'Accordo di Escazù per capire com'è integrata la due diligence al loro interno e alcuni casi di studio.
