Quirino De Giorgio is a pivotal figure in 20th-century Italian architecture, capable of fusing, with a bold and unprecedented vision, the classical language of architecture with the suggestions of Futurism and Rationalism. His architectural production represents an attempt to reconcile modernity and local identity, standing out especially in the reality of the Veneto region, between Padua and its provinces. This thesis aims to explore De Giorgio's life and work, analyzing how the architect managed to innovate without ever losing sight of the historical and cultural context in which he worked. The main objective of this paper is therefore divided into four sections: a biography of the architect, an analysis of the historical and cultural context, a study of the evolution of his architectural and artistic style, and an in-depth study of his most significant works. Through these points, it is intended not only to draw a comprehensive profile of De Giorgio, but also to understand the impact of his work in the local area. Indeed, his influence has left tangible and recognizable traces that continue to characterize the architectural landscape of Padua and neighboring municipalities. Following a chronological and thematic approach, this thesis aspires to shed light on a figure who, despite his contribution to the Italian architectural landscape, is still relatively little known.
