The thesis explores the concept of artificial intelligence (A.I.) from a philosophical and educational perspective. In the first part, through the analysis of contributions by Turing, Dreyfus, Searle, and Dennett, it reconstructs the philosophical debate concerning the possibilities, limitations, and cognitive implications of intelligent machines. In the second part, the research focuses on the use of A.I. within the school context, presenting a review of studies and research conducted in recent years. Risks and opportunities related to the technological integration into teaching and learning processes are discussed, offering a critical reflection on the ongoing pedagogical transformations.
La tesi esplora il concetto di intelligenza artificiale (I.A.) da una prospettiva filosofica ed educativa. Nella prima parte, attraverso l'analisi dei contributi di Turing, Dreyfus, Searle e Dennett, si ricostruisce il dibattito filosofico sulle possibilità, i limiti e le implicazioni cognitive delle macchine intelligenti. Nella seconda parte, la ricerca si concentra sull'impiego dell'I.A. in ambito scolastico, presentando una rassegna di studi e ricerche condotte negli ultimi anni. Vengono discussi rischi e opportunità dell'integrazione tecnologica nei processi di insegnamento e apprendimento, offrendo una riflessione critica sulle trasformazioni pedagogiche in atto.
