Adrian Paci: l'immigrazione attraverso la sua opera

This project focuses on the theme of immigration through the personal experience of the Albanian artist Adrian Paci. The work opens with his biography, followed by an explanation of his art, both thematically and technically. Then there is a focus on the historical context that led the artist, at a young age, to migrate to Italy: Albania in the 20th century, from the communist regime of Enver Hoxha to the democratisation process. Then comes the migration issue that characterised the last decade of the 20th century, particularly in Albania and Italy. This is a fundamental aspect in order to deepen our understanding of Adrian Paci's art, whose main theme is the immigrant's journey. Finally, the whole work will be supported by a careful analysis of his main artworks.

La tesi tratterà il tema dell’immigrazione attraverso l’esperienza personale che ha vissuto l’artista albanese Adrian Paci. L’elaborato verrà introdotto con la sua biografia, spiegando successivamente la sua arte, a livello tematico e anche a livello tecnico. Poi, si avrà un focus sul contesto storico che ha portato l’artista, in giovane età, a migrare in Italia. Quindi si parlerà dell’Albania del XX secolo, dal regime di Enver Hoxha fino al processo di democratizzazione. Si tratterà poi la questione migratoria che caratterizzò l’ultimo decennio del XX secolo, in particolare sull’Albania e sull’Italia. Questo sarà un punto fondamentale su cui poi si andrà ad approfondire l’arte di Adrian Paci, che ha come tema portante quello del viaggio e transizione che fa un immigrato. L’intero elaborato sarà infine accompagnato da un’attenta analisi delle sue opere principali.
