Obesità: costi sociali e politiche di prevenzione

The purpose of the final thesis is to assess the social costs of obesity and the policies that contribute to preventing it. Specifically, the first chapter introduces the problem of obesity, analyzing its multiple causes and negative consequences. The second chapter examines the social costs of obesity, both direct and indirect. The third chapter discusses the different types of interventions adopted by various countries to prevent and counteract obesity in the population.

La finalità della prova finale è valutare i costi sociali determinati dall'obesità e le politiche che contribuiscono a prevenirla. In particolare, nel primo capitolo si introduce il problema dell'obesità, analizzando le molteplici cause e le conseguenze negative che comporta. Nel secondo capitolo si esaminano i costi sociali, sia diretti che indiretti, dell'obesità. Nel terzo capitolo si discutono le diverse tipologie di intervento adottate dai vari paesi per prevenire e contrastare l'obesità nella popolazione.
