Il turismo nelle aree protette: la gestione dell’Oasi Fontane Bianche di Sernaglia della Battaglia

This thesis deals with tourism in protected areas, focusing on Veneto Region and “Natura 2000” ecological network’s sites. It addresses the dual nature of tourism: on one hand it can benefit destinations economically and have an educational and didactic role; on the other hand it can be very impactful from an environmental and social point of view. This paper analyses the “Oasi Fontane Bianche” located in Sernaglia della Battaglia, Italy. It is a “Natura 2000” site under the “Birds Directive 79/409/EEC”. The oasis is situated in the province of Treviso and it is characterised by alluvial forests, springs and a rich biodiversity. The second chapter provides a focus on the environmental characteristics of the springs ecosystem in Veneto Region. The research aims to investigate tourist’s perceptions of protection and management measures implemented in the oasis. The study involves a qualitative analysis based on field interviews.

La presente tesi affronta il tema del turismo nelle aree protette, con un focus sulla Regione Veneto e sui siti della rete ecologica "Natura 2000". Viene trattata la doppia natura del turismo, il quale da un lato può giovare economicamente alle destinazioni e avere un ruolo educativo e didattico mentre dall'altro può essere molto impattante dal punto di vista ambientale e sociale. In questo elaborato viene presa in analisi l'Oasi Fontane Bianche di Sernaglia della Battaglia, sito della rete Natura 2000 ai sensi della Direttiva 79/409/CEE "Uccelli". L'Oasi è ubicata in provincia di Treviso ed è caratterizzata da boschi golenali, risorgive ed una ricca biodiversità. Il secondo capitolo si concentra nello specifico sull'ambiente delle risorgive venete. La ricerca è volta ad indagare la percezione dei turisti sulle misure di protezione e di gestione attuate nell'Oasi e prevede un'analisi qualitativa, per mezzo di interviste sul campo.
