This thesis aims to conduct a survey of mutual-help groups for mental health operating in Veneto, with the objective of mapping their presence across the territory and analyzing their operational methods. As highlighted in the literature, these groups are considered effective support tools for individuals with mild or remitted mental health conditions. The investigation was carried out through an online search of associations active in the sector. An initial approach to the regional Volunteer Service Centers (CSV) proved unfruitful, followed by contact with A.I.T.Sa.M., which led to the identification of several active groups within various associations. Particular attention was given to the Gruppo Arcobaleno for depression and panic attacks, part of the Cooperativa Self-Help in Verona, which was the only group identified with a specific focus on these issues. The analysis revealed critical challenges regarding the sustainability of these groups, primarily due to the stigma surrounding mental health and the workload borne by the volunteers responsible for their management and promotion.
