Sports, recognized as an activity of excellence and a tool for personal growth, can become a source of alienation when experienced under excessive pressure. Both professional and non-professional athletes, with and without disabilities, are at risk of developing anxiety, depression, and burnout due to intense training loads, external expectations, and poor management of psychophysical recovery. This work will conduct a review of scientific literature to analyze these phenomena and identify the main risk factors, psychological mediators, and prevention strategies within the field of sports.

Both professional and non-professional athletes, with and without disabilities, are at risk of developing anxiety, depression, and burnout due to intense training loads, external expectations, and poor management of psychophysical recovery. This work will conduct a review of scientific literature to analyze these phenomena and identify the main risk factors, psychological mediators, and prevention strategies within the field of sports.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
