This thesis analyses the evolution of sports journalism linked to Formula 1 in Italy, from the 1980s to the present day. Through an initial historical excursus, which traces the fundamental stages of the development of the sports press and its relationship with the top motor racing series, the work highlights the transformations that have led the sports journalist to change his role: from a simple reporter, he has become an interpreter of events. The investigation then focuses on the stylistic and linguistic aspects of journalistic writing in the sector, exploring the characteristics of the journalistic language of Formula 1 under the stylistic, rhetorical, syntactic and lexical profiles. These aspects are explored through the analysis of five articles published between 1988 and 2024 on the occasion of some of the most famous victories of the Scuderia Ferrari at the Monza Grand Prix. The aim is to show how, over time, the narration of Formula 1 has transformed, moving from an objective chronicle to an emotional story capable of combining technical rigor and narrative involvement.
