This thesis explores the design of a bioclimatic single-family residence located in Lignano Pineta, a coastal area characterized by a temperate climate and a natural setting strongly influenced by the presence of pinewoods and the sea. The project is based on the principles of sustainable architecture, aiming to maximize indoor comfort while minimizing energy consumption and environmental impact. Through site analysis, microclimate study, and solar orientation, passive systems for heating, cooling, and natural ventilation were integrated. The use of local materials, incorporation of greenery, and renewable energy sources reinforce the eco-friendly approach. The proposed architecture harmonizes with the landscape, respecting its morphology and enhancing its unique features. The project serves as a replicable model of sustainable living for the Adriatic coastline

Abstract
This thesis explores the design of a bioclimatic single-family residence located in Lignano Pineta, a coastal area characterized by a temperate climate and a natural setting strongly influenced by the presence of pinewoods and the sea. Through site analysis, microclimate study, and solar orientation, passive systems for heating, cooling, and natural ventilation were integrated. The use of local materials, incorporation of greenery, and renewable energy sources reinforce the eco-friendly approach.
