This thesis investigates the relationship between Future Time Perspective (FTP) and the growing perception of uncertainty in the current social, political, and environmental context. FTP describes how individuals perceive their future and opportunities, influencing their present decisions. Based on a survey with 150 participants, results showed that general uncertainty and eco-anxiety significantly reduce FTP, while political anxiety has no relevant effect. Gender, nationality, and perceived health also influence FTP, with better health acting as a buffer against the negative effects of uncertainty. These findings suggest practical implications for human resource management, emphasizing the need for stable work environments, personalized career development, and psychological support to promote a more open and positive future outlook among employees.

Abstract
This thesis investigates the relationship between Future Time Perspective (FTP) and the growing perception of uncertainty in the current social, political, and environmental context. FTP describes how individuals perceive their future and opportunities, influencing their present decisions. Based on a survey with 150 participants, results showed that general uncertainty and eco-anxiety significantly reduce FTP, while political anxiety has no relevant effect. Gender, nationality, and perceived health also influence FTP, with better health acting as a buffer against the negative effects of uncertainty. These findings suggest practical implications for human resource management, emphasizing the need for stable work environments, personalized career development, and psychological support to promote a more open and positive future outlook among employees.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
