This thesis focuses on the problem of controlling the active suspension of a vehicle. In the first chapter the system model is presented. Afterwards, different control strategies are studied: in the second chapter the PID controller is considered; in the third chapter the control studied is based on pole placement; in chapter four linear quadratic techniques are applied.
In questa tesi si studia il problema del controllo della sospensione attiva di un autoveicolo. Nel primo capitolo viene presentato il modello del sistema. Successivamente, vengono studiate diverse tecniche di controllo: nel secondo capitolo si studia il controllore PID, nel terzo si utilizza l’allocazione degli autovalori e nel quarto si applicano controlli ottimi lineari quadratici.
