The aim of this thesis is to analyze the performance of photovoltaic cells based on next-generation technologies, with a particular focus on CIGS, CdTe, CZTS, and perovskite-based devices. The study will investigate the conversion efficiency, manufacturing techniques, and material availability for each type of cell. Additionally, the environmental impact associated with the entire life cycle of these devices will be evaluated.
