The technological evolution of the construction industry is giving rise to the so-called “Construction Site 4.0,” a dynamic environment where digitalization, automation, and connectivity are radically transforming processes and operational practices. In this context, artificial intelligence (AI) emerges as a strategic tool to enhance safety levels on construction sites, which have traditionally been characterized by high risks and operational complexity. This thesis examines the main AI applications aimed at accident prevention, real-time monitoring of working conditions, and proactive hazard identification. Through a critical review of the literature, analysis of case studies, and an examination of emerging technologies, the advantages and challenges of adopting AI in the construction sector are highlighted. The thesis aims to provide an updated overview of the future prospects of artificial intelligence applied to construction site safety, contributing to the development of an integrated model of sustainable innovation and proactive prevention.

Abstract
The thesis aims to provide an updated overview of the future prospects of artificial intelligence applied to construction site safety, contributing to the development of an integrated model of sustainable innovation and proactive prevention.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
