This thesis investigates the phenomenon of aerodynamic stall in axial compressors, drawing primarily on a review of literature published in the second half of the twentieth century by leading researchers in the field. The work is structured into three parts: the first, of an introductory nature, provides the fundamental background necessary to understand the phenomenon; the second analyzes the flow behavior and the factors that influence its stability up to the onset of stall; the third examines the phenomenon after it has occurred.

Abstract
This thesis investigates the phenomenon of aerodynamic stall in axial compressors, drawing primarily on a review of literature published in the second half of the twentieth century by leading researchers in the field. The work is structured into three parts: the first, of an introductory nature, provides the fundamental background necessary to understand the phenomenon; the second analyzes the flow behavior and the factors that influence its stability up to the onset of stall; the third examines the phenomenon after it has occurred.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
