The thesis analyzes the historical figure of Dolores Ibárruri, known as “La Pasionaria,” during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), with particular attention to the role of the Communist Party and the involvement of women in the conflict. It reconstructs Ibárruri’s political path, leading to her emergence as a symbol of anti-fascist resistance, with a specific focus on her speech “¡No pasarán!”. Finally, the thesis reflects on the symbolic significance attributed to the figure of "La Pasionaria", who came to embody courage, resistance, and anti-fascist militancy.
La tesi analizza la figura storica di Dolores Ibárruri, "La Pasionaria", durante il periodo della Guerra Civile Spagnola (1936-1939), con particolare attenzione al ruolo del Partito Comunista e delle donne coinvolte nel conflitto. Si ricostruisce il percorso politico di Ibárruri, fino alla sua affermazione come simbolo della resistenza antifascista, ponendo particolare attenzione al discorso “¡No pasarán!”. Infine, si riflette sul significato simbolico attribuito alla figura della Pasionaria, divenuta emblema di coraggio, resistenza e militanza antifascista.
