Voyage au bout de la nuit, written by Louis-Ferdinand Céline in 1932, it’s considered a revolutionary novel for its innovative language and style. Inside the novel we can find traces of the writer biography including his experience during the war. Our study’s focused on the first chapters of the book where we analyse the similarities between Céline life and the experience of the war that is described. The main focused it’s on the new innovative language, that is the spoken language of the people with all of its strong vocabulary and vulgar words and the influence of the war on Céline’s style and language.
