This thesis aims to explore in depth the smart working, starting from its origins and developments until its evolution in the post-pandemic context. The main advantages and criticalities of this way of working, the challenges related to work-life balance, the role of internal communication in hybrid organizations and the return to office phenomenon will be analyzed. In addition, a survey on new business trends will be carried out, with particular emphasis on flexibility and talent attraction. Finally, considerations will be presented on the future prospects of smart working and the strategies that companies can adopt to ensure a balance between flexibility and productivity, while respecting the needs of workers and business objectives.
Questa tesi si propone di esplorare in modo approfondito lo smart working, partendo dalle sue origini e sviluppi fino alla sua evoluzione nel contesto post-pandemico. Verranno analizzati i principali vantaggi e criticità di tale modalità di lavoro, le sfide legate al work-life balance, il ruolo della comunicazione interna nelle organizzazioni ibride e il fenomeno del ritorno in ufficio. Inoltre, sarà condotta un’indagine sulle nuove tendenze aziendali, con particolare attenzione ai temi della flessibilità e della talent attraction. Infine, verranno presentate considerazioni sulle prospettive future dello smart working e sulle strategie che le aziende potranno adottare per garantire un equilibrio tra flessibilità e produttività, nel rispetto delle esigenze dei lavoratori e degli obiettivi aziendali.
