Throughout history, the labour force has undergone multiple transformations due to technological advancements that have changed the rhythms and dynamics of work, forcing humanity to constantly adapt to new ways of working. In the first chapter of this paper, we will examine some technological innovations that have revolutionized the way we work, along with their impact on human employment across various sectors. Additionally, we will discuss potential future trends, particularly how the workforce might further change due to recent innovations such as robots and artificial intelligence. We will also put an emphasis on the psycho-social effects of unemployment as a phenomenon linked to technological change. In the second chapter, we will address some key aspects of theories concerning the end of work such as reduced working hours, guaranteed minimum income, the revolution of work and leisure time, as well as the expansion of the third sector. In the third and final chapter, we will address psychological aspects related to the changes in the global labour force analyzed in the second chapter. This section will focus on topics such as socialization, pro-social behaviors, social needs, and work-life balance. In conclusion, this paper highlights how technology is transforming the relationship between humans and work, and how the adoption of certain strategies could support adaptation to these changes, while also promoting a range of positive psycho-social implications.

Abstract
In conclusion, this paper highlights how technology is transforming the relationship between humans and work, and how the adoption of certain strategies could support adaptation to these changes, while also promoting a range of positive psycho-social implications.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
