This thesis presents the application of Mechanical Completion and Pre-Commissioning phases in the development of an industrial chemical plant for the production of hydrofluoric acid (HF). Following a detailed description of the AHF unit process, the work focuses on technical procedures, documentation, control methods, and engineering practices involved in the mechanical completion and system start-up. The final part describes the internship experience, including field inspections, technical checklist management, documentation handling, and operational support. The thesis aims to provide an integrated view of engineering theory and its practical implementation within a high-risk industrial environment.
La presente tesi illustra il processo di Mechanical Completion e Pre-Commissioning applicato alla realizzazione di un impianto chimico industriale per la produzione di acido fluoridrico (HF). Dopo una descrizione dettagliata del processo produttivo dell’unità AHF, si analizzano le procedure tecniche, la documentazione, i controlli e le metodologie adottate nelle fasi di completamento meccanico e avvio impiantistico. La parte finale è dedicata all’esperienza pratica maturata durante il tirocinio, in cui sono state svolte attività tecniche di verifica, ispezioni sul campo, gestione documentale e supporto operativo. La tesi si propone come sintesi tra teoria ingegneristica e applicazione concreta in un contesto ad alto rischio industriale.
