The following report is based on the internship carried out at the laboratories of the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Padua. It focuses on studying the development of porous, stable, and sustainable materials through the use of recycled glass, employed in the formation of a suspension in an alkaline environment. The goal of the experience is to produce samples with both insulating and filtering functions.During the internship, two main methodologies were used for their fabrication. The first involves the use of a template a removable inert material on which the structure forms, ensuring the creation of a porous material at the end of the production cycle. The second is based on coating a naturally porous resin of various types, produced via 3D printing, with the suspension.
