This work focuses on the kinematic analysis of the D.A.S. system. (Dual-Axis Steering): an advanced mechanism, designed and used on the car: Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance Formula 1, that allows for improved vehicle stability in curves, greater speed and less tire wear on straights. The focus of this research was to study the kinematic behavior of an associated system, it was carried out the kinematic analysis of position and velocity for all members of the mechanism and then calculated their velocity ratios. The methodology adopted included the extrapolation of dimensional data using Solidworks 3D and computer simulations using Working Model 2D.

Abstract
This work focuses on the kinematic analysis of the D.A.S. system. (Dual-Axis Steering): an advanced mechanism, designed and used on the car: Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance Formula 1, that allows for improved vehicle stability in curves, greater speed and less tire wear on straights. The focus of this research was to study the kinematic behavior of an associated system, it was carried out the kinematic analysis of position and velocity for all members of the mechanism and then calculated their velocity ratios. The methodology adopted included the extrapolation of dimensional data using Solidworks 3D and computer simulations using Working Model 2D.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
