Chronic low back pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal conditions globally, significantly impacting the quality of life and physical function of those affected. Despite its high incidence, it is often underestimated or treated generically, without adequately personalizing therapeutic interventions. This thesis aims to thoroughly analyze the characteristics of chronic low back pain, identifying its main causes, onset mechanisms, and current rehabilitation strategies, with particular attention to the exercise-based approach. In this context, the central objective of this study is to evaluate whether the inclusion of the deadlift, a commonly used exercise in sports and functional training, could be an effective method for improving physical fitness in individuals with chronic low back pain. Through a review of the scientific literature and an analysis of key experimental studies, we will seek to understand the role of this exercise in terms of muscle strength, lumbar stabilization, and reduction of perceived pain.
