This paper aims to highlight the importance of Power Quality monitoring in electrical systems associated with photovoltaic technology. As established by EEC Directive 85/375, electricity is a product, and in a context of continuous expansion of renewables in the electricity grid, uncritical consumption is no longer permissible. Power Quality control involves the continuous analysis of electrical energy parameters both at the point of delivery and within the system, in order to implement countermeasures aimed at improving it, as well as preventing malfunctions and failures. The thesis begins with an introduction to photovoltaic technology, explaining its operating principle and the different components in stand-alone and grid-connected systems, before providing an overview of Power Quality with the essential design considerations. The discussion continues with a detailed analysis of the devices associated with photovoltaic technology that are most affected by this issue, providing appropriate corrective actions.

Abstract
The discussion continues with a detailed analysis of the devices associated with photovoltaic technology that are most affected by this issue, providing appropriate corrective actions.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
