This thesis analyzes the use of social media as a tool for data collection, with the aim of assessing their affectiveness in the distribution of online questionnaires. To achive this, a questionnaire was promoted on various social platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Using social media as a research tool allows for reching segments of the population that are traditionally more difficult to sample, particularly young people. The topic of the proposed survey is: " Social Media & Body Image: how social media promote an unrealistic body image", chosen for its relevance and prevalence among youth. To encourage participation, a workout plan was offered as a reward to respondents, in order to increase the response rate.
