Watch and Wait (WW) and Local Excision (LE) are rectal-sparing strategies for rectal cancer patients who achieve a complete (cCR) or major (mCR) clinical response following neoadjuvant therapy. However, no prospective studies have reported long-term outcomes for both approaches. This study aims to evaluate the long-term outcomes of patients treated with these rectal-sparing strategies.
