This thesis analyzes the topic of food claims, that is, the indications and declarations used on product labels to highlight nutritional and health characteristics. The thesis focuses on the regulatory framework that governs such claims in the context of agri-food law, with particular attention to consumer protection and the prevention of misleading commercial practices. The main national and European regulations, the controls carried out by the competent authorities and the responsibilities of food sector operators are examined. Through a legal and comparative analysis, the thesis aims to highlight the current critical issues and the evolutionary prospects of the system, highlighting the importance of transparent and correct information to guarantee consumer safety and the proper functioning of the agri-food market

La presente tesi analizza il tema dei claims alimentari, ovvero le indicazioni e le dichiarazioni utilizzate sulle etichette dei prodotti per evidenziare caratteristiche nutrizionali e salutistiche. L'elaborato si concentra sul quadro normativo che disciplina tali affermazioni nell'ambito del diritto agroalimentare, con particolare attenzione alla tutela del consumatore e alla prevenzione di pratiche commerciali ingannevoli. Vengono esaminati le principali normative nazionali ed europee, i controlli effettuati dalle autorità competenti e le responsabilità degli operatori del settore alimentare. Attraverso un'analisi giuridica e comparata, la tesi si propone di evidenziare le criticità attuali e le prospettive evolutive del sistema, mettendo in luce l'importanza di un'informazione trasparente e corretta per garantire la sicurezza dei consumatori e il buon funzionamento del mercato agroalimentare
