The dissertation, drawing on the internship experience, analyzes how a data-driven approach supports strategic planning and management control in post-acquisition integration, highlighting potential budget variances and leading to their reassessment. After an initial theoretical section on growth strategies and M&A, it explores the role of data in corporate decision-making, emphasizing how the integration of analytical tools, the examination of specific key factors, and the use of production and sales data can enhance the effectiveness of planning. To support this, the case of SIFA S.p.A. is presented—an Italian company operating in the paper converting and corrugated cardboard sector—whose recent growth has been driven by a series of acquisitions. The thesis concludes with reflections on the benefits of data-driven management and on possible future developments toward an increasingly dynamic and responsive strategic control.

Abstract
The thesis concludes with reflections on the benefits of data-driven management and on possible future developments toward an increasingly dynamic and responsive strategic control.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
